Lesson Overview
In this lesson, you will attach the completed claw assembly to the robot arm.
Instructions
Attach the Claw Assembly
You will need:
- 1 x M3x6 Screw (top mount)
- 2 x M3x12 Screws (side mounts)
- 1 x Circular Washer
STEP 1. Attach the Top Arm Link
Position the claw assembly at the end of the robot arm.
Place the circular washer between the top mounting hole on the claw assembly and the top arm link, as shown in the photo.
Line up the holes and secure the connection with an M3x6 screw.
Tighten the screw until the parts are secure, but do not overtighten.

STEP 2. Attach the Bottom Arm Links
Line up the hole in one of the bottom arm links with the side mounting hole on the claw assembly.
Insert an M3x12 screw through the aligned holes and tighten until secure.
Repeat this step on the opposite side using the second M3x12 screw. The photo below shows one side of the connection; attach the other side in the same way.
Make sure both connections are secure, but do not overtighten.
